Math is no longer about memorizing facts! I need to build a classroom set of hands-on manipulative my students can use to connect their learning. I have requested tools that will help my students add and subtract numbers 1-20 and solve word problems by using objects. A set of classroom clocks will help students learn how to tell and write time. The geometry tools will allow my students to understand the difference between 2 and 3-D shapes and break up circles into two and four equal parts. Please help this first year teacher make math fun for her hungry first graders! Thank you!
