We need calculators for the students in all classrooms. Many people believe that students are lazy because they use calculators, however, if the tools are available, shouldn't students have access to any tool. It's like saying a having a car makes people laze. In actuality, it gets them where they are going accurately and efficiently. These calculators will give my students the extra support they need to perform difficult mathematical tasks. We are limited due to funding and want our students to not be negatively impacted in the classroom. Our teachers will loan these out to students to use both in class and at home for their studies. Many of our advanced math courses require a calculator. If we want students to take the advanced maths and be successful, then we must give them tools to help.
