Having soil will allow us to work year round to grow healthy vegetables and cheerful flowers. This will allow students to explore many related science topics hands-on through inquiry based learning. Giving students a space to work outdoors will allow them to connect to the natural world and give them a place to explore botany and nutrition. Students will also learn to be responsible for other living things and rep the benefits of hard work. All great gardens must start with a seed. Our garden will need some basics from seed starting pods to trays and lids to keep the seedlings warm and moist.
