A critical component of our pre-kindergarten curriculum is helping students learn through movement and play. Each day we engage the students in 45 minutes of gross motor play. Weather permitting, we love this to be a time to get outside in the fresh air to learn, play, and use our muscles to explore the world around us. This past summer the school was fortunate to undergo renovations that included the installation of a brand new playground. Unfortunately Rochester winters can be cold and many of our students do not have proper outwear that allows them to continue exploring through play outside. Donating snow suits and mittens will allow our children to continue their learning and exploring, even in the winter months when the outside is full of new and exciting experiences!
