My students need new PE equipment to improve their fitness and skill levels. By purchasing versatile and soft equipment it will allow me to maximize the use of equipment for a variety of units while keeping my students safe. The gator skin balls will be used for soccer, throwing, volleyball and shooting skills for basketball. The yarn balls will be used for throwing and hockey activities as well as used for manipulative's during a variety of games and warm up activities. The foam tennis balls would be a great addition for our striking unit (rackets and paddles). The hula hoops are great for the younger students to explore, they help me with organizing games and are used for many activities such as cooperation and teamwork by building hula huts. Also, I use hula hoops by attaching them to the rim for basketball so students of all levels can find success. The equipment will allow me to create engaging, fun activities that keep my students moving and learning. Thank you for considering.
