Although my students will be participating in school in a variety of ways this year, they will often be at home or unable to share materials. I want them to be able to participate in classes and express themselves artistically. These materials will allow my students to have a hands-on experience even if they are outside of the classroom. Having access to school supplies at home will allow my students and their families to participate as they would if they were in school. They will be able to work with family members to create projects along with their classroom peers. Since most of my students learn best by touching, feeling, and manipulating objects, these materials are essential to their learning this school year.
