I hope to provide some extracurricular activities like a Star Party night. I would like to start an astrological club. When I ask students "who has looked at the rings of Saturn with a telescope?", I get very few hands. I hope to provide some hands on experiencial learning that will inspire and that kids will never forget. Earth and planetary systems are part of the new NGSS standards and I am looking for exciting ways to bring these systems to life. I also connect to NASA and current events going on in space like the Lunar Eclipse this weekend and Mars exploriation with INSPIRE. There are truly exciting things happening in space.

About my class
