Many of my students love to read but don't have the opportunity to access books that park their interests. Others think they don't like to read, but would be more likely to pick up a book if they saw people like themselves in the pages. Nevada Academic Content Standard RL7.10 asks that students read and comprehend literature at the high end of their grade complexity by the end of the year. The students in my class need access to these books so they can improve their reading and comprehension skills.
