The tools and equipment that I have requested will be used in the agriculture mechanics and power & equipment. The welding helmets will help replace some older worn out helmet. The helmets I have requested are auto darkening meaning that you can see your work piece before striking an arc and then they will do shade the lens providing a safe view of the work piece. The pliers are need to perform basic shop functions, such as moving hot metal, removing cotter pins, loosing a nut or bolt. The locking c clamps are need to hold metal to the table or together. The engine model will allow students to visualize and have better under standing of how a 2 stroke engine works. The welding jackets will provide students with a safer work environment. The fencing pliers are a great multi tool to have on hand as they can be used for several different things.
