These activities will provide this hands on learning and integrate math and language skills at the same time. The materials provide concrete objects to help the students gain an understanding of the concept being taught. The math puzzles will help the students become aware that numbers are a pattern. The magnetic letter building activities will make students aware that print conveys a message. The letter activities will help the students understand that letters and sounds make words, which then will lead to print awareness.
