A student's ability to feel comfortable in their classroom environment is all a teacher could ask for. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential part of moving them toward success. I have several students who are on 504 plans and English Language Learners. They are trying their best to be successful and often times have to move to the front of the room to sit on the floor so that they can be closer to the whiteboard. Flexible seating allows students to take control of their learning and use accommodations they need, that I cannot provide. My students are the most important part of my day. Their success is my first priority. The product I have selected will help my students by providing them comfortable seating instead of the floor. The rocker chairs will allow students to move around the room and work where they are most comfortable and successful. These will be extremely beneficial for some students; whether they need a closer seat or simply something different. My students have never complained about having to sit on the floor, but just watching them as I am walking around teaching I see the strain that it is putting on their necks and backs. I know that they will appreciate this seating option as they continue to grow.
