Currently there is no lab available for our high school's STEM Academy. Students do not have a place to work on their capstone projects that are required as a senior project. The lab workbenches will allow students to work on building their project in an appropriate setting that will be safe and inspire creativity. The lab workbenches will be used instead of desk to work on their projects. This will allow students to place materials together and properly set up their products to appropriately and safely make modifications and alterations. The current classrooms at our high school are used for multiple classes; subsequently they are not conducive for working on ongoing STEM projects. A dedicated lab area allows students to work on their projects without the worry of their projects being altered throughout the course of the day. We are respectfully requesting 5 workbenches for the lab.
