Wobble stools and cushions will allow my students to focus on being the best learners they can be without worrying about pain caused by sitting in a still position for too long. I have met with other educators who have seen the benefits of allowing students to stay in motion throughout the school day. These students spend more time putting their best effort as they learn and less time complaining about back pain or wiggling in a way that distracts others. Active sitting can improve sensory focus and awareness in children! These stools and cushions will allow students to let out the wiggles in a way that does not disrupt their peers, which will help us maintain a positive learning environment. I also plan on using these stools and cushions to teach my students how being active can help them stay healthy.
