I want to introduce a ukulele playing program to the upper elementary students at our school. I hope to obtain a full class set of ukuleles in order to provide the students with a fulfilling musical experience every music class. ​With the ukuleles, the students will learn about the elements of music through playing an instrument. The ukulele is a terrific instrument for children, beginners, and non-musicians to learn to play; it is easy to hold, easy to learn, and almost any song can be played on it. As virtuoso ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro said, "If everyone played the ukulele, the world would be a better place."
