My students struggle with staying regulated, calm, and safe during the day. These sensory tools will help to reduce distraction, improve concentration and attention to tasks by allowing the brain to filter out the extra sensory information These sensory toys will help attention while listening to a lesson in the classroom and paying attention to a book during circle time. The students are so eager to learn and play. These toys will also act as a powerful reinforcer (reward) for hard work and effort. I know my students will be more engaged with these sensory toys. My students are truly my inspiration and I love to work with them on a day to day basis.
