Students are working to develop their skills in Trigonometry, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. The use of the logarithmic functions on a scientific calculator is a daily need. Without sufficient calculators students must share the few that we have available. When doing independent practice or assessments this takes significant time from learning. Donations to this project will help to improve my students' skills in mathematical thinking by increasing the time they engage in problem solving. When students have all the tools necessary to learn less time will be spent in the complicated logistics of sharing resources and more time will be spent in the application of math and development of skills.
