My first-grade students love going to the math center every day. In our math centers, my kiddos get a hands on approach to solving mathematical problems in a fun interactive manner.
This project will allow me to create colorful and approachable center materials for my first grade students. Unfortunately, our school budget does not afford me the opportunity to create these materials. I know your donations will help to ensure that my students receive exciting new materials on a regular basis through their center rotations. I will use the colored paper and printer to make exciting and engaging math activities for center. In order to make sure these new activities remain durable, I will use the laminator to laminate the puzzles, activities, etc. I also added a clicker to help make sure I can easily change slides and groups during lessons and centers while also remaining close to students who need extra support. I cannot wait to see my first graders engagement increase with the use of these new materials.
