These devices will make an amazing impact on my students, so we can use programs such as iReady and Nearpod. Nearpod is a program that has so many resources across many subject areas. Our district and our bilingual department have recommended we use this program. It’s an interactive program in which I will guide them on a journey through information, and they respond through the device so I can see their progress. It’s amazing to watch them acquire information in a different way that is very entertaining as well. They have actually asked me to please use this program. My group has grown so it’s difficult to do as a class. I break it down into smaller groups but it makes it harder to finish a lesson. I’ve already gone to family members and have had 2 laptops and a tablet that were not being used donated to my class. A couple more devices would help greatly. My dream is to be able to expose them to more technology and have them enjoy their learning experience to the fullest.
