I want my students to feel a sense of pride in their classroom environment as well! When they walk into my room, I don't want them to see a "classroom," but a home. I don't want them to see rows of desks and hard chairs. I want them to feel safe and comfortable while reading and talking openly about their books. This comfy couch will provide my students with an alternative seating option to let their imaginations fly! They will have an opportunity to get out of their hard, uncomfortable desk chairs and onto a soft, inviting couch! They will be begging to read their books!
