The use of leveled reading books is essential in the development of a scholar's academic success. As of right now, my scholars do not have leveled books in the classroom for daily use. Our classroom library contains a variety of books that make it difficult for scholars to choose which book is right for them. These books will aide in my assessment of my scholars reading abilities and the measurement of their growth as the school year progresses. My classroom is also in need of a classroom rug that will be big enough for a meeting area for our daily lessons. Our current rug is not big enough to fit all scholars comfortably. It takes up some of our time during the day to situate scholars when it is time for a whole group lesson. By donating to our project, you will be helping our scholars achieve their literacy goals and making our classroom more functional. Scholars will have an easier time choosing their just right book. This project will enhance scholars experience with independent reading and aid in creating a more productive learning environment. It will also give the class a more organized and comfortable learning environment.
