We have 24 precocious, smart, and inquisitive kindergarteners eager to learn. To stimulate their minds and engage them in real world learning, we want to witness the butterfly life cycle and apply our learning to the full curriculum. We are enrolled in a high poverty school that is part of a district facing large deficits in California. In addition, over half our students are learning English as a second language, making the ability to see what we are reading about even more important.

About my class
