With gorgeous spring weather coming it's the perfect time to be outside, and experience creating en plein air. The French term "en plein air" means in out of doors which refers to the practice of painting entire finished pictures out of doors. Many famous artist, Claude Monet, Winslow Homer, and Georgia O'Keeffe to name a few, wasted no time getting outside and painting nature and I want to bring the plein air experience to my students. With portable, large sized smooth clipboards, my students will have a tool at hand to experience creating en plein air just like many famous artists.
