BOOMWACKERS will give all my 5th graders the chance to learn to play and read music. Boomwackers involve movement which all students need. My students diagnosed with ADHD or AD will benefit greatly with the chance to move in class. I also teach Saturday school and we use the opportunity to teach standards that we may not have the time to cover as completely as we would like. Boomwackers will give students the opportunity to learn music, stimulate a different part of their brain, make school fun, and give them a well-rounded education. The donation of this project will help our school be a happier environment where children look forward to attending school and learning about music. I already have a plan on when and how I will use your donation. I will also use the Boomwackers in my Saturday School Recovery with other grade levels and hopefully inspire more teachers to obtain these fantastic devices!
