I recently changed teaching positions from a special education teacher to a kindergarten classroom teacher. Moving from a small group of students to a whole classroom of students has been exciting and challenging. I have found the need to supplement center games to accomodate a larger group of students (and cut down on spreading germs). I believe that students learn best through play so I continuously try to add new games to our center rotations. Many of these games I make myself. Having a laminating machine would help save time and money, allowing me to laminate materials right in my classroom. The file folder games will allow my students the opportunity to work in small groups or individually to practice math and reading skills. By laminating them, I'll be able to sanitize them frequently. The letter object tubs will help reinforce the beginning sounds in small groups.
