Our special education department recently cut a reading service that offered books/literacy resources in Spanish. We used this resource EVERY DAY as an instructional tool. These kids deserve to have access to books in their native language that will help support them moving forward in their academic goals. These leveled texts will be used EVERY DAY! We will be able to dive into these texts for reading/writing groups. I love to incorporate technology into my academic groups, but believe it is incredibly important kids have access to print books as well. They will make a HUGE difference in student learning- and they deserve it.
