Our students have been working together in groups with just one laptop to get on sites such as ABCMouse and Starfall. Having a tablet for each child in their group will allow them to be able to create their own profile and learning path on the tablet and learn at their own pace. This will ultimately increase their learning and decrease the distraction of having to take turns with the use of just one laptop in the classroom. These three tablets in the classroom would make things run a lot smoother for both the students and the educators in the room.
