Providing students the accessibility to iPads will provide another resource for students to learn about history and allow them to make the much needed real world connections. I want to provide students options to learn about history in a way that they are excited about. In our low socioeconomic area not all students have technology to bring to school to use. The addition of these iPads would help me to reach those students without technology access. These new iPads will allow students to use specific apps that will bring history to life for them! Students will be actively involved in their learning and actually take responsibility for personal learning. Limited funding for public schools makes it difficult for teachers to provide a well-rounded technological education for students. These children are our future and deserve the best education possible which includes the integration of up-to-date technology!
