These material will teach my students proper stage and microphone etiquette. It will help them find the courage to be heard when they sing and play music. I have requested a full PA system. This includes microphones, microphone stands, speakers and a wireless sound board. We also need a protective case for those microphones that do not come with one. With more than three-quarters of the students coming from low income household, the opportunity to discover and experience something more will show them that there is a big world out there for them to experience. It is my hope that my students are find their voice and courage to pursue a college education through the self confidence they will discover in my class. Having a PA system will help me teach them this confidence.
