My class really needs a class set of headphones. A good pair of headphones really helps kids to be able to hear their computer without disrupting others. It also saves time and headache when students don't have to deal with flimsy headphones breaking or not working. We use computers for reinforcing new concepts, and for remedial lessons to close achievement gaps during computer centers. We also use them when taking district mandated tests. When we are working in computer centers, the children are using websites such as IXL, Raz Kids and Zearn to level up their skills. These websites are personalized to them and their learning, meeting students where they are at and giving them a push!
