My students are not at all used to animals, let alone aquatic turtles. Giving them an opportunity to learn about animals in the ocean could enhance them even more to fall in love with learning. What better way to do it then by creating an atmosphere of teaching them about the importance of the ocean pertaining to how we live and it is a habitat to so many other creatures.The items needed for this project is a filter, pebbles for the tank, worms and reptile food to feed the turtle, and bulbs to keep the turtle warm at all times. A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning and that is what I plan to do everyday in my class. Help me to expand their learning outside of the textbooks, worksheets, and videos. Let me open their minds to explore the things of the ocean!!!
