Working with young children a lot of magic happens on the carpet. We spend a lot of time listening to stories, reading, singing, dancing, working in both large and small groups there. In our classroom we have two main meeting spots and one is a carpet that is 15 years old. Although the carpet is cleaned, I'm sure you can imagine how 15 years with 5 year olds looks (there have been many accidents and spills). My students deserve to have an appealing and comfortable place to sit and learn. This carpet will serve not only this years class but classes for years to come.
