A 3d printer will allow my students to design and build their own rocket parts. The students will design wings, nose cones, and engine mounts. With the 3D printer, they can make their designs a reality. What better way to learn about Newton's three laws than rockets? Rockets are always a highlight in my classroom, but without the ability to design and create their own parts, it really just focuses on the assembly without creativity. The 3D printer allows students to personalize their rocket. In addition to the rockets, students will also design their own rubberband powered cars and boats!
