My students are from low income families, who struggle during class time due to their learning disabilities. My goal is to create STEM centers in the classroom to expose them to various techniques of science and have them work as small groups on PBLs. They will use the electronics and circuit components to learn about machines and build some. They will analyze electronics as they reverse engineer sensors and modules. They will store safe chemicals in the refrigerator to use it during the physical science center time. They will use virtual reality goggles to experience virtual field trips of places they never been to. The books will be used to improve science literacy and will help me as a teacher develop my skills to further facilitate the children's education.
