We are an open enrollment Montessori school that also includes French bilingual education. In New Orleans, where 39% of children live in poverty, we offer all kids a unique, rigorous and child-centered education. We need high interest, relatable French books to help our young students be stimulated and engaged in learning a second language. We will use chimes and sand timers to build community and connect to peace education and community building, which is central to the Montessori philosophy. Our school aims to promote independent, creative thinking amongst our students so that they can navigate obstacles themselves and have the self-realization to create their own goals.
