This project will help students who need a calculator to be successful in their studies by giving them one. Who wants to do higher level math without a calculator??? The lighting, posters, and candy will all encourage students to work to the best of their abilities. Students love when they earn candy for being supportive of a classmate or having the right answer or doing well on a test or quiz or even when they get a wrong answer as long as they are trying to the best of their ability. Giving candy out helps to motivate students to not to give up and reward students who are trying their best. All students can learn and do math, we just have to help students realize this and show them that they can be successful.

About my class
