In this world of constant change, my students need a chance to keep up with the latest technology. Having access to Chromebooks will allow my students to do this. With these Chromebooks we will have access to online research for class projects. My students will learn to use Google Classroom in an effort to prepare them for the near future when they will be required to turn in work through this program. Our district requires students to become proficient at keyboarding through online programs and having Chromebooks in our classroom will significantly help in this effort. Our new Math adoption has a large technology portion and my students will need to have a device to access it. Even our state testing is now done online. If I have Chromebooks in my room, my students can test in the comfort of their own classroom. Having Chromebooks at their fingertips will give my students the opportunities they need to learn through technology and be prepared for the future. As they move on to high school and eventually college they will need to be very familiar with online educational programs in order to be successful. With your help, my students will be on their way to a bright future.
