The implementation of interactive and real life activities is a weekly occurrence in my classes, whether through hands on learning, group activities, or real life simulations. Due to this I want my students to have the opportunity to not only learn why drugs and drinking are harmful but experience the effects, feelings, and hindrances of those unwise choices firsthand. By donating to our project you will give my students the opportunity to participate in a drunk driving/drug affects activity that will make them rethink using drugs and indulging in alcohol. Student will be able to participate in a variety of stations centered around driving (simulations), completing simple tasks, and walking along caution lines all while experiencing the affects of alcohol, marijuana, and ecstasy and learning the consequences of choices. Through this activity they will increase their knowledge over the harmful effects of stimulants and apply their understanding to real life scenarios.
