I want my students to experience painting a one-of-a-kind piece of art on a real canvas. Acrylic paint is a medium that not all students have an opportunity to use. We need acrylic paint and canvas panels. I would like for my students to be able to use their creativity and make a school-wide display that they feel proud of! After the school art show, the students can gift their painting to someone special in their lives! Being able to make a personal painting will boost their self-confidence as artists. I also want to introduce new painting techniques with the new medium of acrylic on canvas.
