My students love to come to school but at times lack the motivation to complete assignments or do well in school. I have created a token economy system which will motivate them to be better students and bankers at the same time. My students will earn program bucks that can be turned in to purchase super items from our class store. Students will tabulate their bucks daily and at the end of the week, be able to write a check to purchase items from the class store. In addition to banking, the students will learn how to set goals and how to save for bigger purchases. I have stocked the store with some items and the students have made some changes but I know that the basketballs and footballs will make a big impact on motivation.
