I dream of having a rich literacy center in my classroom. I want to promote literacy by exposing the children to different ways of enjoying books. With a listening center, students can follow along to the stories, they can hear the different voices of the characters, they can have fun with their friends while listening to the same story. New books are always fun! I love when they ask me to reread stories because it shows their love for books and reading! When young readers enjoy reading, they grow up to be life-long readers. They learn to express their creativity. I can't wait to start the new year with new technology and materials that are developmentally appropriate and fun!

About my class
