Learning letters, sounds and the basics of reading starts with hands-on, engaging practice. My students will make huge growth in literacy with the help of the puzzles, games, letter magnets and flannel board stories. The CD players and headphones will allow my kindergartners to listen to many stories and develop an understanding of print voice match along with a love of books. My kids need your help! My school is located in a high poverty area near downtown Denver. Most of these students are unable to bring school supplies. With the paints and construction paper, my kindergartners will be able to create and explore!
