Technology is the most heavily used resource in our classroom. With the iPad, I can augment what they are exposed to with educational programs and reinforce the information. Examples of learning suites available for children are Gizmos, i-Ready, and so on. The iPad is a very versatile device with a wide variety of applications available that can help students; with the use of the Apple pencil, it becomes a portable whiteboard. The two in conjunction would enhance the way I teach since I can also project the content from the iPad screen to my Smart Board so that students can see. There are educational applications on the iPad which aid students in understanding concepts such as addition, multiplication, subtraction, division, etc. The programs are visually appealing with interactive diagrams and problems. For example, a scale could be shown on screen; items can be dragged and dropped on it to be weighed. Technology is widely used in the world today and has become extremely critical in student's academic success. With the prevalence of devices such as the iPad and Apple Pencil, educational programs have become accessible to students and their educators. With the use of the iPad, I will help to improve my students’ educational achievements and help them get ready for the future.
