My students are wonderful kids! Because the class is a special education unit they struggle with various educational issues. Some of my students struggle because English is not their first language, they are in a lower socio-economic class, struggling with personal care, and are in food crisis. Some students also have communication struggles being nonverbal, needing speech, reading, and occupational therapy.
