My classroom is in the small, rural community of Pixley, California, where many of my students come from low-income families. I have the privilege of teaching 28 amazing fifth graders who bring curiosity, resilience, and a desire to learn every day. This is my 16th year of teaching, and I believe every child deserves a classroom filled with engaging resources that inspire learning. Many of my students rely on our classroom for opportunities and materials they may not have at home. Classroom supplies, books, and hands-on learning tools help create an environment where students feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. Your generosity helps provide meaningful resources that make learning more engaging and gives my students the opportunity to thrive.
