These calculators will help scaffold the grade level curriculum for my below grade level students, as well as unlock new mathematical concepts for my grade level and advanced students. Let's be honest... solving linear and quadratic systems are hard enough, but when students struggle with figuring out "7 minus negative 3" the remaining 99% of the problem is very difficult to understand. These calculators will help provide my students with the ability to not stress too much on the calculations, and instead focus on the steps to the process. For my grade level and advanced students, the ability to teach them about Sin/Cos/Tan, the Order of Operations as well as exponent and square root properties is priceless. Also, many of my students rely on their phones for calculators, unfortunately, when it comes to state testing they are unable to use them due to safety and security purposes. By giving them the opportunity to work with these calculators from day one, it will hopefully instill a level of confidence when it comes to showing their mathematical abilities
