Students have a mixture various learning style preferences. Some are visual/auditory learners while others are logical, kinestetic, or verbal. It is important to use practice activities that will reach all of the students throughout a lesson. The use of the magnetic letters will attract the visual, kinesthetic and verbal learning depending on what the task entails. In one activity the students will be grouped to form words and sentences. Higher achieving students will have the opportunity to help other students who may be have difficulty with a skill. Children often times learn through playing games. The magnetic letters will afford the opportunity for students to compete with each others while forming words in Spanish. Other students prefer to learn or reinforce skills independently. Having the Plantronic Blackwire headsets will enable students to work at their own pace without interfering in the learning of another student. Finally, Children often times learn from each other. Children will be given the opportunity to use the White board easel to demonstrate mastery of skills or to reteach to another student. When given this opportunity, students become more confident in their own ability. More challenged students feel more at ease than when the teacher has to pull him away from the group for remedial help.
