Art gives us the opportunity to learn how to problem solve and think differently. Famous artists from the past and present are great examples of how new ideas can be presented to our world visually. Through these books students can discover amazing painters, sculptors, and other artists who have come before them and moved the world. These books will not only serve as visual examples of the artists' work; they also discuss the artists' life and the ideas behind their artwork that spoke to viewers. The variety of books will also give the students examples of many different types of artists from different time periods, and give students the opportunity to find their favorite.
