Building a foundation for financial literacy skills starts in kindergarten. This year my students have the opportunity to learn and practice these skills during blended learning time in class. During this block my students will work in various learning stations that include literacy and math. Students will use the leveled books for guided reading lessons. Students will be able to recognize letters and numbers by using the various puzzles. The other literacy materials will be used to practice foundational skills needed for financial literacy. Students will also work in math stations and will practice identifying and matching numbers and their values.
