With these materials, students will be able to engage in more hands-on learning and complete projects for school plays, concerts, or other classes. As a performing arts school, there is a high demand for set pieces for productions and a growing number for students interested in technical theatre and construction. These materials will go to servicing that increase in students and projects. When building a platform for a school play, power tools such as saws and drills produce a lot of noise and often spray sawdust and splinters. With only a single pair now, more ear and eye protection will allow more students to work at once and thus speed up the curriculum and cut down on project time.
