Students are tired of working in their books. They're tired of doing boring quizzes on paper or exit-tickets on sticky notes. They want something different that is fun and engaging. Clickers are great tool to increase student interest and engagement, while providing immediate feedback on student understanding. After doing some research on different kinds of clickers, I found that Elmo had the simplest look. This is important to not overwhelm the students nor to distract from the objective. When using the clickers, the students can reply with ease and I can project results without hassle nor wasted time. This will allow for fluid and targeted instruction.
